All leadership teams have led through periods of change. However, we are not all at the level of change-fitness for upcoming change that we may need to continue our purpose.

Now, more than ever, we need to be talking about Change-Fit leadership teams and bringing a more conscious energy to our futures.

Leadership teams openly struggle to meet changing demand, to fund existing operating models and to keep up with technological potential. Viability risks for many long-established services, organisations and industry sectors are real.

Teams are working hard and it does not always feel fulfilling. It is not uncommon for staff to be change-fatigued. There is often a range of conflicting views from frustration at the lack of progress to concerns that the team cannot keep up with current expectations, and that it is putting in little or no time / investment to prepare for the next steps. Leaders are losing confidence that they and their colleagues can adapt at the pace required. Take a moment, be aware of your leadership team change-fitness, this is a key enabler for delivering your purpose.
